We sure were lucky with the weather! Everything is now covered with 12-18" of wet HEAVY snow!

Ha ! I got to the computer first. Deny will have to wait. I wish I could have been there last weekend, walking is not easy right now. I hope everyone enjoyed the cookies and other goodies I sent. Next time I will be there or here, whenever and wherever you guys are. We are so lucky the Arborists came to us. Buy the way, the wood is under about four feet of snow. I hope the 60° weather we are suppose to have this week will let us get to let us actually see the wood.
The guy who plows for us plowed toward the wood. Not a good thing !!!!!
Thanks so much you guys and gals, God has blessed us by bringing you to Interfaith and to us.
Love to you all, even those who could make it.
Barb

Thank you all so much for the charity cut at the One Shot. I am so thankful everyone made it out of the woods safely. Interfaith Caregivers and Barb and I are so blessed to have met all of you and developed so many wonderful friendships. Thank you to all who worked so hard and traveled so far. God bless you.

Thank you for the thank you, we were just glad to help. It is fun for us to be able to get together with the AS folks and play with our chainsaws. I also must say thank you for being such nice generous people, you and Barb really do alot to help out some folks that need a hand. Everyone I tell about what you do think its great. I myself am new to the arborist site and am greatfull that I met such a great bunch of people. Me and Sarah look forward to coming over and helping again.

Are we going to be cutting up here again? Is it still to dry? I am itching to play with my saws. Actually I have been cutting quite a bit over about 1/2 mile north of my house at a gun club I am a member of.

May is looking like a real BAD month for me. Alot of high school and college graduations going on. Last year we cut at Denny's on Memorial Weekend during the Interfaith garage sale they have at their place. We also need to line up wood deliveries around the Grantsburg area so we can deliver the wood from the One Shot directly to tha famalies who need it instead of hauling it to Denny's. Any one up for a day on the last weekend of May???

I know it is short notice and everyone is real busy-but I would like to put together another crew later this month. We would like to cut, split, and deliver wood directly to people who are served by Interfaith in the Grantsburg area. It is not cost effective to haul the wood to Denny's then have him turn around and haul it back. I'm hoping to get some guys together on Sunday May 20th to get this done. Also Denny is close to making a huge score on some loads of 100" oak and needs a spot cleaned up to stack it at his place. Maybe Sunday May 27th for that. They really liked the response they got last yaer when we were there during the annual garage sale they have Memorial Weekend. Any helpers out there? I don't want to do this all by myself with pele!

20th is a no go. I'll be down in IA at the Nationwide races.

I think we are camping in Trego memorial weekend, might be able to run over to Dennys on Sunday for a while.

What's that saying about a fate worse than death?

100" of oak? That's hardly worth the trip. :msp_sad:
