We need to know how many to plan for. If everyone coming could shout out and let us know which days we can plan accordingly for food and drink! I think I will be staying at the cabin on Saturday nite. If anyone wants to stay there is plenty of space in the bunkhouse.

Still in the plans for saturday - working on clearing other obligations for sunday. Will bring the 5 gal water cooler - filled of course - anything else?

I will not be making it, but if you need me to haul some outta the woods at a later date I can do it in late march or april-

bent shaft on the loader boom cylinder- thought it was maybe the valve sticking- not that lucky

well, if I had a hammer along today I might have tried :hmm3grin2orange:

The cylinder is on the underside of the boom, and I must have hit it at some point loading- or maybe Jake did when he tried it:) Nah, prolly me- it has seen about 1000cords so far and going strong, thought it just needed seal and valve work, but I can see it must be bent at the midpoint, works smooth before and after that point, and oil is leaking worse. I am not much of a hydraulic guy, but I have done seals and had one other shaft built for me this past winter.

She'll be in good shape if you guys have stuff left along the trails to haul out later:)

It is what it is! Just bring your saws along and we'll get by.
Those cylinder rods don't always straighten too well. They usually go bang when you bend them back.

Give us a list of diameter of log and maximum length and we can stage stuff for later. I don't think we will get this done in one weekend anyways.

not up to much chainsaw yet dude :)

Few guys around here try to straighten them, but I can buy this rod for $60, might need a little machine work on it, but not worth re-using one to me. Got my money's worth.

all 8-10 footers would be ideal for me, 12' gets long and I loose traction

butt logs could be 8' if large-

within a couple weeks I can run saw and cut them in half if needed :hmm3grin2orange:

Did some measuring,WGP. Don't think it will fit in the passenger seat lol

Then as long as you are bringing the trailer-Throw the JARI Mower on to keep it company!:hmm3grin2orange:

Is that what it is? Been trying to match it up/identify the make for a couple days now. Came from the Ariens manufacturing area.
