And finally

This is as it sits, right before I drove it back onto the trailer.

I'm still going to cut out and weld in some panels to finish the back part of the hood where it crosses the tower section. Something (albeit smoother and more refined) like this so that it flows a little better...

Obviously I still haven't yet finished my hood :monkey: I did have to go back and cut out the bottom of the "driver" side bumped out panel because it interfered with the steering linkage when turning while the "driver" side of the front axle was articulated up. But other than that, everything has worked very well! I will definitely be adding one of these diesels into my other tractor once funds free up... Anyone want me to make them a log arch...?

That is a cool idea, how much power do you think you have compared to the old gasers? Kind of a seat of the pants type of guess.

Yeah, hard comparison. What I CAN say is that this little motor has grunt for days! I could bog down the old gassers, but this thing just buckles down, grunts some lovely blackness, and powers through whatever the situation. I've heard some people say that horse power is horse power, and others say that the diesels will do almost twice the work... All I can say is, the torque is most definitely noticeable; the fuel economy is far superior; and I never have to worry about carbs, spark plugs, or any of the other crap that gassers bring to the table. These particular diesels are direct injection and only need fuel and air to run. Only way to turn it off is kill the fuel supply :chainsaw::chainsaw:
