Dont go by plug color until you've loaded it.

Find a good thick log, crank the saw, let it warm up.

Make 1 cut, 2 cuts, 3 cuts, 4 cuts, halfway through the 5th cookie, kill the motor with the kill switch.

Now read the plug....

I jumped the gun on the plug. I remember reading that a long time ago. Too dark to do it tonight.

I will always come to this site to get good information. I have received good information from many, many individuals on this site. I hope I have given good information, when I felt I could offer something(not as often as I wish).

I don't like ragging on anyone on this site(unless is is in fun and that is understood). I will continue to take and leave advice and leave the rest. Life is too short to get bogged down with that kind of stuff. I will not say anything to anyone on this site that I would not say to their face. The internet makes insulting anyone much too easy.

Thanks for the advice and opinions. When I get a chance, I will run the saw and check the plug. I need a better tach so I can get a more exact reading, but since I can't get one, I will just have to settle for the ear and recheck with tach.
