Couldn't think of any other forum to post this but

Does anyone know of a company or a website that offers covers for a wood chipper? Mine sits outside most of the time, (until I build a garage!) and figured keeping it dry and out of the sun would be a good thing. Anyone ever heard of such a thing?

Sounds like a good idea. The paint seems to oxidize fast enough even when they're stored inside. Might try steel haulers coil tarps if you're just looking for something heavy & tough.

one of the problems with covering it is the chipper chute. It needs to be covered seperately with a sock like cover which overlaps or attaches to the rest of the cover.

For a decent size chipper your probably going to need a cover in 2 halves as a single cover is going to be very hard work to put on and off and more subseptable to damage. Theres a number of ways of doing it, we had a mix of velcro, domes, eyelets and bungees which held the cover in place. A few hooks and mounts on the chipper and it sat solidly enough to do motorway speeds no prob.
