Well we all know it's the silly season and Christmas is fast approaching us, 8 Days now? The calls have been very quiet as one could assume for this time of the year with priorities going else where and away from the tree's..

Just wondering how Christmas affects you and you're Tree Business this time of year, what time does it start slowing down to the point it comes to a complete halt? Also when does it start back up?

just about dead here aswell.....

picked up for 2 weeks....

but basically dead since Thanksgiving.:(

i got 1 day booked next week so far.hopin for something to shake loose.

We were flat out till about 2 weeks ago, now just bits and pieces ... like palm cleans. Yuck.

Usually dies like that and picks up a bit after the New Year, then a little more when kids go back to school.

It's been a tough year in Brisbane with water restrictions and the housing boom over. There's many more competitors and door knockers are out of control .... many businesses hurt by it.

No bad storms either. Over the weekend Sunshine Coast and a little out west got hammered but here a poxy 5mm of rain and no damage.

have been doing a good amount of estimates but my closure rate has gone way down this time of year. the competition right now is so cut throat becuse of the scarcity of work around. it seems like they are just doing the work to keep the help busy so they dont run off. The good thing is I try to save my commercial contracts for this time of year. If we just did residential work we wouldnt be working every day. I actually enjoy not being swamped with work right now. It provides much needed time to spend with loved ones.
