i dont know if your directing this to me bud but i will respond as if you are.

i have been behind one often enough in my career to know that there are better machines out there than using a CnD.

and in 30 years you never got whipped by one branch running those things?

have you ever left the office in those thirty years?

My there's some pugnacious folk on here this morning, eh? I like my CnD too, but would never try to compare it to a good roller feed system.

I just ask my new guys if they recall all that they got away with as a child without getting a whipping.

The response so far has been a curious 'yeah?'

Then I pat ole Betsy on the table top, smile and growl:

Well son, it's time to pay up!

It is a real gas watching these tough little twentysomethings get their licks and whimper like little girls.

If you learn to master it instead of the other way around you get far less abuse, if any...but you have to be smarter than the machine.
;) LOL! :cheers:

Well I better make a comment on them since i like them so much I made my screen name chucknduck. I have owned mine for 2 years, no problems. They will hurt you if you don't repect them. Great for pines, elms,poplars, cottonwoods, mulberry's, Bad for pecan and locust trees.
I havn't used mine in two months since i bought a grapple truck, but it would have been cheaper just to use the chipper. But less noise, dust, backache with grapple.

I said most, not all. I have been popped a couple of times but not enough to be a problem. Yes-I leave the office frequently.

It is when ya get to a point that being whipped really don't bother ya;
you have mastered the work! Some whine, some don't and some sick'os
like me, kinda like it :laugh: I never whined but there are a few dents
on the chipper if ya know what I mean. I fight back :hmm3grin2orange:
