Any thoughts on this type of stove. The fire box is made of sheet metal surrounded by a sheet metal cabinet. Are they safe and how many years can you get out of one? U S Stove sells a couple models and they call them "circulators".

Thanks

Yep those are old school stoves that do a pretty good job considering price and age of the design. Thay are made by several companies Ashley, Wonderwood, come too mind. I have one that suppliments my kitchen Glenwood C and it does a fine job. Mine is a King heater (no longer made) but the Ashley wood circulator parts fit exactly (Door gaskets, firebricks, even the blower in back). They are not the most effiecient stove on the planet, but they can pump out some serious heat.
