What do you guys cleanup around the wood stove with after you fill it with wood.I just use a dustbuster to vac up the dirt and stuff,it take a few seconds and keeps the area clean.

Dust pan and brush for the quickie cleanup. When I empty the ashes I use a heavy duty metal bucket and small coal shovel, and run the shop vac to suck up the dust. Then I thoroughly shop vac around the stove, being careful not to suck up hot coals!!!

Broom, metal shovel, into the furnace.
The ash pail has a larger opening than the ash drawer, so no mess from that step.

Having a cobblestone/sand floor in the basement means cleanup can be optional at any time, but once the wood is stacked, cleanup is only once a month at best.
