Slinging saws one handed is for NO ONE. A kick back occurs in 1/5 of a second and you can't control it one handed. IN addition, over time guys who have one handed in the past have major problems with their wrists and elbows.

I'm not advocating one hand use. Reality - some guys do it alot. Some rarely, with the reasoning of it being safer than text book methods of dealing with a hazard.

No saw manufacturer advertises one hand use chainsaws. Some posts on this site espouse the one hand balance of a particular model saw. OP and many others could be, are, confused.

No one is quicker than kickback.
