Half the energy produced by burning green wood is used to dry the wood. Green wood produces twice if not more the amount of particulate emissions as dry seasoned wood does. The yahoo that started the OWB's can burn green wood nonsense needs a good dose of head and shoulders, as in a stick of wood about the head of shoulders.
