I wasn't trying nor did I intend to step on your toes with my post. You do, however, come across as a little "new" or "green" with your response. Like I said, I have been around this business 35 years. You learn to take a lot of folks with a grain of salt.

Or a chunk, as I often say. I just talk too much. I tend ti drive people a little crazy that way. My insides are on the outsides. Life has to be played more like poker at times -- I do get that.

Is the Wild Turkey a deductible business expense?

Consulting is not as enjoyable as pruning imo but it does have its moments. Here's two real cases fictionalized, and a writing how-to book review, fwtw. Constructive comments welcomed.

Enjoyed those, treeseer. I really don't have any constructive comments! I wonder how you got that woody plant comment past the minders at Arborist News:msp_tongue: You are obviously a fan of Guy Noir (hey, that rhymes)

I got spanked by gologit for a comment here that was what I thought to be merely a colorful variation on "When Pigs Fly" involving monkeys. It was deleted, so I'll have to relate it to you at a conference. Toronto 2013?

Nice to have met you here of all places. And no, I can't deduct the Wild Turkey because I didn't share. If you come through HR, I might just have some more on hand, and we can discuss its deductability --- maybe while making deductions?. I better keep the drifts of papers and piles of samples squared away so there is someplace to sit.

I don't tout for report work but if I do get its done free as spend many a day reading Arb reports more often there are ok but its amazing to read 2 on the same tree the variation is hard to believe.

If your gong to write reports do try to boil it down save my and others eyes of pages n pages of site and tree info cut pasted in.
i skip to the end read the summary and conclusion as more often have made up my mind after the 1st pictures. Only if it disagrees with my thoughts will I wander back to the details.
