Ruger14, Yes I did cut with it. As experts predicted on my saw it was no faster than a standard bar. It still looks cool and I am not sorry I had it made.
Neat bar. Some other guys here said a belly bar won't work on that saw. I'm not arguing but asking why? Are belly bars only helpful on big saws in big wood? Thanks, John
Isn't the whole point of a belly bar to allow you to run higher chain speeds with less tension on the chain? So if you do get a 3120 with a huge sprocket that's where your bar will make a big difference? You can run less tension than with a straight bar and not lose as much cutting power to friction?
