I have m18 rear handle chainsaw and just found in garbage working flexvolt chainsaw with no bar and chain a couple small parts missing. I tried the m18 b and c to make sure all was good before I ordered parts.
What bar and chain combos are people running on flexvolt saw for what use? I have larger gas saws so this will be for training with young people carefully and limbing and trimming. I am thinking 12-14”.
Has anyone found .325 sprockets for either saw to run low pro .325
Or 1/4 pitch?
In my experience the m18 has a good amount of torque so I can lower rakers to accommodate for the lower chain speed.
In a bit of cutting the dewalt flex volt seems to have faster chain speed (less torque) but definitely not as robust design for the tensioner, bar attachment, clutch cover, bumper spikes.
Thanks if anyone has any help or answers
