Corona pole pruner will not extend

My manual Corona Pole Pruner will not extend, is locked. Cannot get the pole to twist, and therefore unlock. Is there a cam inside that sticks? Have read where other poor souls have the same problem. Sigh, destined forever to trim low limbs only.

I don't know about your specific pole pruner but you could try spraying some penetrating lubricant like PB Blaster or Kroil to hopefully lubricate the stuck/jammed mechanism.

Thx. I did try running some penetrating oil down inside, but the only way inside is at the juncture of the base pole and the extendable pole, Not sure any got to the mechanismh, as the fiti there is really tight. Next try seems to drill a hole and give it a shot of penetrating lubricant inside. Now to figure out where the stubborn mechanism is so I can get close with the hole
