Anyone know how many versions of this saw they made as far as the cylinder/piston go. I have one that's dual ring but I don't think it's the thin ring chrome bore that everyone talks about. I also just found another that's a single ring piston. Is the single ring not original? The design of the exterior of both cylinders look the same.

3.3 blue decal one should if still oem have a 1 thick ring and chrome 335 cylinder bore.

It is basically the same as the RED 335 but it dont have the chain brake cover like RED 335 did.

I know these well. Even had a NIB NOS one I traded to a collector firewood cutter.

Gold decal most times will be a bare bore like the 3300 but have heard of folks finding a chrome bore on them before.
I have changed those gold ones out to chrome bore. Chromed p in one shown that comes in bare bore.
