Old friend gave me this:
bd9c188f9b597660eb2f8f4d6d987859.jpg

Fuel system overhaul and its good to go.

Snagged this:

Off evilbay. Same boogie with the fuel supply. Needed a tank. Split filler neck.
In near mint cosmetic shape.

So between a red and grey 3700 which one would ppl keep and sell? Assuming everything is the same (cosmetics, mechanicals) Most would say the grey one is a 3800 but model# says 3700. Thoughts?

Keep them both. Nice saws. Check rings and bore. Thin ring 3700 thick could be 3400 3800

As far as I know they are both great, no problems, I don't need 2 and have minimal space for equipment, I orig wanted to sell the grey one but it's in better overall condition. I'm still in the fence on selling either. The grey seems in more demand

It blew 155 compression but needs fuel lines and filter and carb gone threw. I plan to get it running good then muff mod and base gasket delete. Should make a good back up to the 590 or just another saw to run.

Finally got to compression test, red:148psi. Grey: 135. It's odd tho, they cut and feel the same
