Well I B, there is 3 lines after all on the red machine, 1 from the saw base tank area to the right side of carb and 2 from the primer. Being you have no primer, you probably only need 2. Just guessing OK.
Are you running the Zama carb or the walbro carb? I took the zama off in favor of the walbro.
PM you phone number and I will call you since I left the saw undone and we can figure it out quicker maybe.
I got 10-15 mins free if you want to try it over the phone.
I'm on my way out right now, and I normally don't give out my number (no offense). My aim screen name is joecool41485 though, maybe later we can figure it out on there if we can't get it here.
No problem. Do you want to call me? and go from there?
I actually think I have it figured out. Now I need to decide wether to buy the line and filter from poulan, sears, or go to my local saw dealer and see if they can hook me up. It's a Stihl place, but I'm sure fuel line is pretty generic.
Joe , a good hardware store probably has the fuel line and starter rope for your saw .
I checked Aubuchon Hardware (local store around here) and they didn't have anything smaller than 1/8" ID line and apparently I need 0.080" ID 0.140" OD line, that and I need a filter to go with it. No starter rope needed, thats one of the few things on the saw that is mint.
Joe , did you find the return fuel line hole in your tank to be on the right side of the tank ?
I don't think this saw has a return line. I found only one hole in the tank. When looking from the trigger side of the saw, straight down it is on the right hand side under the carb.
Joe , you might get a better view if you open the gas cap and look inside the tank . My PP220 had the feed fuel line with filter aft and the return line forward on the right near the carb . Just like the red saw picture that Cut4fun posted . Is your saw built like the red saw ?
I actually got anxious and went out and checked, no other holes. I looked around real well on the inside of the tank with no luck. Right near the cap there was a pin hole, probably some sort of vent I would assume. Also, I took my flashlight and shined it in the tank with the light off in the room, light came pouring out the hole I knew about, and no other light came out of the tank. I'd same I'm good to go, one hole in this tank.
It may not. Don't know about the little Craftsman. But if he had a screw in the primer bulb, then he may have added a screw to the hole in the tank as well. See any screws on the top side of the tank? It probably shouldn't be there. Just a thought.
I just found a screw near the primer, about 1" from it that definetly use to be a hole for a line. Now, is that hole suppose to be the gas in line hole or the one directly down from the carb? The one down from the carb looks bigger than the one with the screw in it, and from what I gather, the only big line comes off the primer, making me think the one with the screw in it is the one that is suppose to have the gas line running through it.
