Ok here is the deal. I have an in with a local city government. They do yard waste pickup once a week from March through November every year. Everything has to be put in those brown yard waste bags. All the bags go to the city dump site for free. I don't know how many houses use this service but they have 6k houses in the city. The city dump site is also open to residents to dump there stuff any day of the week. They are paying 10k a month for the service. I was told the other company is using 4 crews to get it done in a day. I'm thinking about bidding on this for next year. I would like to here opinions and to see if anyone else does a service like this.

Thanks Scott

If its the same day every week, drive around one day and get some intel. stop and talk to one of the crews, compliment on having to pick up all that waste, they will start bragging, tell ya everything.:hmm3grin2orange:
figure that as a slow day, with early spring bringing a lot more.
$2500 a week, $625 per day per crew. AT THE CURRENT BID. you would have to beat that, and buy a lot of fuel.
be painful to have to run 2 days straight on a busy week.

better to waste a day then win a bad bid.:
