Want to Buy Cylinder (jug) for 270 canadien pm saw

Looking to buy a good cylinder for a old 270 Canadien pm saw?their 3 stud stripped out on the one i rebuilding.have alot new parts in it.looking everywhere.all the parts are new in it.i had it running but has a leak in the head.has 158 lbs compression.

might be easier to install threaded inserts ?

Just checked. This is what I got. Threads are good at least. Scratches don't feel that deep.

I will run a hone thru it lightly, see how it turns out.

Sorry i been away do to work .been at sea fishing.how did the cylinder turn out?looks like its missing a stud.is the tread stripped?that's the problem I'm having.2 stripped out!

No threads are stripped. I removed the studs for something else I'm sure.

I gave it a quick hone. Still some light scratches that I barely feel. With a new piston, I measure around .004-.005 skirt clearance as seen.

Allready tried it .just to much metal missing.

Canadien, it was marketed in Quebec for the pulp wood cutters at the time.

Quality and selection of parts.people you need to deal with him he had good stuff and quality.you cant go wrong and at good prices.im after buying alot
