Cylinder worn out?

This is a 2100 cylinder. It looks like the plating is worn through. Idk if it just looks rough because it’s chrome not nickelcyl? Is it still usable

Run your fingernail over the sections you think are bad and see if they feel rough. I'm guessing it's fine. Usually if the plating is worn
through, it will present a lighter color because of the Aluminum alloy of the base material underneath being exposed.

Run it until it locks up
Then...big bore kit or a new chainsaw...

It’s fine. The cylinder shows the same pattern below the transfer ports where the ring never hits it

I’m used to seeing a smooth finish on more modern cylinders so I figured I would ask

I don’t think I have seen a big bore kit for a 2100

I’m not certain if it’s the maker or the era, but I’ve seen several 044 and 066 cylinders that look similar
