I buyed a Makita DBC-4510 brushcutter (DBC-DolmarBrushCutter:confused: ) for sawing and brushcutting. I know, the better way probably was stihl FS-450 but...
I`m not tried it yet but like hear from guys here how the carbs of brushcutters are? have they circuit for the partial throtle operation as well or have you experience using them at partial throtle? On DBC-4510 is walbro WT-225A carb.
I have used stihls FS-55 at partial throtle and had no problems so far, it smoke like hell at partial throtle too (a lot of fuel-oil)

Did you check if the air filter is ok,try it w/o air filter to be sure. Also check if choke is fully opened. If everything ok,then open the carb. You could check also if the exhaust is not blocked.

Thank for advice, usually I use vacuumcleaner for air filters cleaning, the saw one I wash with cleaning agent as well.
I ask about trimmer because compared to chainsaw their working regime seem being even more demanding. Lot of time without large load but at WOT.
So, cranck-rod bearings are continously at max load, etc.
The manual is not saying that it should be used only at WOT, like chainsaw instructions are usually suggesting:dizzy:
