I ported one of each size of these saws.
The 45 runs pretty good with a base gasket delete(I still had a ton of squish but 200psi of compression), wider intake, little less than 1/16 off the pistons intake skirt, widening of the lower transfers(mostly on the exhaust side), wider and a little less than 1/16 higher exhaust with the top edge of the piston also cut down the same amount the exhaust was raised on the sides by the transfers. I cant grind the top of the transfers with my dremel hence the piston cutting.
The saw gains over 1000 rpm in the cut ported, its a pretty good gain for a few minutes grinding and top ends are 20 bucks if you mess it up.
With the small stock carb the ported 45 runs right with the bigger cc versions of this saw, If you put a 365 carb on tho, the 58 and 61cc versions scream.
