I like the Toro track, it's the tool for the large job I bought it for,it's been converted to dual fuel now but will be run mostly on propane. Fred I have the specs but I think they are also available on the web.

If anyone else is interested in buying a mini-skidsteer, my advice is to check ALL available options before purchase. Dingo isn't the only manufacturer.

The only mini I've used is the Dingo, but everybody and their brother is making them now.

SB- I think you will find that the ground clearance on the TX models flat SUCKS! And I think someone said before that it will pick up a lot more than it has counterbalance for too, which, IMHO, is not the way it should be... But, many full-size skidsteers are this way too.:(

They do swing a 30" auger very well though!:)

I'm waiting for a job where we can try out the (now it's not so) new MT50 from Bobcat. I think it has a better track configuration, it's cheaper (I think) and any Bobcat attachment can be mounted on it....

Manufacturers of the mini's include, Dingo (Toro), Kanga (the company Dingo split from many years ago), Finn, Ditchwitch, Vermeer, Bobcat, Gravely, and many others. Check around and see what is available. You may be able to get enough demo's lined up to where you can delay buying one for over a year!:D

Hi Dan, clearance? What clearance? Your right about that but it doesn’t matter here. A bigger factor is the footprint. The selection was limited and the deciding factor was parts and service on the jobsite (the world’s largest freshwater island) plus I have a buyback deal on this one after the contract is completed including the custom built accessories so it’s a win win situation here. This 425 is a bit too big and heavy for our residential work back in the city though.
