protecting us from the earths most dangerous vegatation? lol.

kidding. good job.

Is it? The most dangerous? Aren't there flesh eating plants and stuff like that?
At any rate, yeah, that thing could hurt ya. Could you imagine how big that thing would be now if it was never topped?

Most of the trees I have topped were topped before.

The only topping I will do is retopping those rotten hazards. The little old lady scenario where something has to be done and she cannot afford a budget removal. The estate can remove it when they have to sell.

I was thinking Dan's tree would be removed in around 3 years, since the remaining laterals are so small, on many cuts.

Oh crap! Did I leave something up there? Dam! I hope nobody sees it.

I did this mulberry, took it to 3 or 4 nubs a few feet above the trunk. I came down totally spent and soaked with sweat, blind from the heat. The old man drives over on his lawn tractor and says" Taking a break?"
I guzzled some water and whacked it again, came down, same thing, I climb it again. I came down, he starts driving over, I ran to my truck and squeeled the tires. It was way past going home time.
The whole time I kept asking the guy if what I was doing was low enough. He just sat on his running lawn tractor , smiled and shooked his head yes. We filled a top kick pruning a tree.

The old guy was probably blind drunk. Hey that how I'll be mowing my lawn. Have old mattresses tied to the trunks of trees so I won't scare the bark!! Imean scar!
