JRZ Size;
1.6 cu. meter drum. (47" dia x 57" high)
I got 56.5 cu. ft (1 cu. meter = 35.314 cu. ft)
It stacks out to 35 to 37 cu. ft., or to answer your question, 1/4 cord.
226 cu. ft. loose thrown cord.

The Dino bags are 36" x 42" x 58" or 50.75 cu. ft.
(I seriously question the Dino bag to be 1/3 cord)

I questioned it too, but the bags really expand beyond the 36x42. This is one of the reasons they are hard to handle. On a 40x48 pallet the bag once filled hangs over the sides of the pallet. I don't have any good pics at this point but I will post some once we get going. I filled a bag then stacked it and it came out close, within a few splits.

Top photo is from a little while back. The bottom ones I took this morning to show more clearly how it works. IMG_3618.jpg
This is 2 1/2 wraps. Stop and staple netting to pallet. Some pallets the boards run past the 2" x material (called wings) about an inch. The netting can be hooked on these instead of stapled.IMG_3620.jpg
Typically about nine complete wraps.IMG_3624.jpg IMG_3625.jpg IMG_3621.jpg

Very good people to work with. It was all very good. I love it. No more stacking.
It should season well with sun and air flow, although double stacking may cut down on both somewhat. I may single stack next year, depending. Don't know till you try. I think it is way better than a pile for seasoning and handling.

ValleyFirewood: Not sure if your pallet rack question is for me or JRZ. For me, I do not have the space, although it would keep pallets off the ground, from rotting, and also easier to cover if necessary. If the racking was stacked close, as the rows are now, then it would have to be disassembled to access the next row, unless the top side rails were used as connecters and left intact. But then you would need concrete floors as well. All too much work. It might work for some, depending.

Understand! We ate on about 5 acres and could easily use another 5! Just the logs takes up a good 3 acres.
