Do you think it is wise to add tree transplanting on your services?

We have been getting tons of requests lately for tree transplanting.
I find it too risky to do.

Any comments or suggestions on this?

that depends on your location and demand,having it as one or services you offer has an edge too

Like moving a tree within a property or buying B&B trees from nursery and planting.

I've moved a couple of trees with limited success. I'd rather start a couple years ahead and root prune...

Yeah, we tried last moving a tree within the property and it was a disaster.
Plus too risky. I was told the success rate of survival is too low for the transplanted tree.

I know a guy in NE Ohio that does a fair amount. He bare-roots the trees with air excavation. Can more pretty big trees much cheaper (and probably higher ROI) than moving that much soil.
