Doctor told me to get some "greens" in my diet. This is a start.

I picked this up today for cheap. Hardly used Poulan 2300 cva. Everything looks new minus the gas line. It is cracked in two spots. Compression is 135-40.

Those are fine little saws. Just had two in the shop, one is still here awaiting pickup. Good runners, probably one of the better saws you can buy on the cheap on Ebay and or CL.

It was found in the north suburbs of Chicago on CL. I offered $5 more than the next guy :msp_biggrin:

I watch the Chicago C/L now and again but its not the mecca of chainsaws, glad you got that nice one picked up and I assume your not far from the north burbs.

It would take a pretty good saw for me to hit the north burbs for one as I would have to drive through Chicago twice and I would rather take a beating most the time then do that.

I avoid going into the city at all costs. I drive around it when I go south and I am right at the lakefront! This saw was less than 5 minutes from a house I was working at today. Other good saws I have picked up on CL were west suburbs and Wisconsin border. I drove an hour and 45 for 090 once and I picked up my 064 in route to a vacation destination :msp_w00t: But nothing inside the city.

Nice little CVA Mike. What a great limbing saw those are. A lot of snort for their size. I have two of those, a 2300 cv, a micro and two s25da's. I think.

R2D, that's a really nice find, congrats :msp_thumbup:!

My second Craftsman rear-handle version of the Poulan 2300CVA is in route, I already know it's not as nearly as clean your find.

i think they make that in a carrot color also:laugh: (husqvarna 23 compact)

So there is a green one, a yellow one, a gray one and an orange one :msp_confused:

Hey Chris. What do you think of the 2300cva compared to the s25da?

good score,,, looks nos

There are some slight blemishes but close to NOS.

There's a lot of different colors of those. One of mine is a yellow skil branded one. The s25 has a little more grunt but the CVA is certainly smoother. There's so many different variants of those little saws that I can't keep track of them all. When I get a new one I just post a pic and let the guys tell me what it is. :cool2:

RED? Sears craftsman.
