Guess its a little different than a 2300cva. Which model Poulan is this?
Thats a 2300 unless it has the antivibe on the front handle on the other side, then it would be a 2300AV.

Damn good score. There were also MANY Craftsman grey versions of those made too. I worked on dozens of them when I was at Sears service. Replace the fuel line, tighten up that chain, and have at it. Get more Poulans too...
Here's Mark's fuel line replacement thread for this series:

I picked this up today for cheap. Hardly used Poulan 2300 cva. Everything looks new minus the gas line. It is cracked in two spots. Compression is 135-40.

Thank you for the thread!
There is another on CL but it is in Indiana. $20 doesn't run:
Update: Just put the fuel line in. I didn't follow Marks procedure. This thing was so easy to take apart and put back together. That is all it needed other than sharpening the chain. I am impressed. It screams for a 38cc saw. Can't wait to do some limbing with it
Want that one? I seen that and I work right beside Hammond and could probably pick it up. I was thinking of doing that anyway but I just get tired of C/L sellers who for some reason dont put a phone # in there add...
No the procedure I listed was for a solid handle micro. The CVA's are the same but still different if you know what I mean.
I have also learned how to "catch and release" saws.
How does that work? My wife wants to know...:msp_sneaky:
So what is a yellow Poulan Pro 180 top handle? Looks like a 2300. Any different?
