Doctor told me to get some "greens" in my diet. This is a start.

Guess its a little different than a 2300cva. Which model Poulan is this?

Thats a 2300 unless it has the antivibe on the front handle on the other side, then it would be a 2300AV.

Damn good score. There were also MANY Craftsman grey versions of those made too. I worked on dozens of them when I was at Sears service. Replace the fuel line, tighten up that chain, and have at it. Get more Poulans too...:D

Here's Mark's fuel line replacement thread for this series:

Thank you for the thread!

There is another on CL but it is in Indiana. $20 doesn't run:

Update: Just put the fuel line in. I didn't follow Marks procedure. This thing was so easy to take apart and put back together. That is all it needed other than sharpening the chain. I am impressed. It screams for a 38cc saw. Can't wait to do some limbing with it :D

Want that one? I seen that and I work right beside Hammond and could probably pick it up. I was thinking of doing that anyway but I just get tired of C/L sellers who for some reason dont put a phone # in there add...

No the procedure I listed was for a solid handle micro. The CVA's are the same but still different if you know what I mean.

Do I want that one? I couldn't justify the hassle for you and I over this saw. Thanks for the offer. I may hit you up on a "bigger" CL find some day. I used to want them all. I gave away three minimacs (one was a runner, one fired but no idle, one didn't run but was in near new cosmetic shape). I have also learned how to "catch and release" saws. I have some keepers in my signature line but they are forced earn their keep.

The procedure: I just wanted to take it apart. I had the mechanics wire ready to go but really, I wanted to see what's inside. Easy saw to work on.

How does that work? My wife wants to know...:msp_sneaky:

That's one of the best ways I can keep chain saw funds covered up! It is a whirlwind of chainsaws coming in and leaving. I am constantly buying other tools and selling ones I don't need. To my wife it looks like the same money being recycled over an over again. Most of the time it is :msp_wink:

So what is a yellow Poulan Pro 180 top handle? Looks like a 2300. Any different?
