Hi are any of you running Seafoam in your saw's ? Will it cause damage?

Scott

I'd recommend NOT putting extra crap in your mix fuel. But if you want to, don't come on in 6 months and ask "Why did my saw stop running?"

I use it sometimes to clean carbs and fuel system components but don't mix it with every tank of gas.

When I was at the Husky dealer there was 2 guys talking about this product.
The service guy said it was ok to use. I just don't trust it.

I use it, but only with snakeoil at 32 to 1.

It's just alky and oil. So I buy alky and oil, but seperate.

i have used it in cars and trucks works great.if you use it in saws, only use a ounce per gallon of mixed fuel, and only run it about 1 tank for every 50.

After hearing people rave about sea foams ability to remove carbon from outboards I gave it a try. I couldnt see that it did anything after running several tanks of sea foam doped fuel through the motor.
I think it ranks right up there wath MMO as a useless product.

the biggest problum with useing it in two strokes. is that you have to let it sit on the piston, while it is hot, in full strangth. if you mix it with gas it takes along time to work. had a 79 f150 with lots of carbon put half can down carb smoked and smelled like you would not belive.drove the truck for 10 min and it cleared up.had carbon deposits all over my driveway. be careful it is toxic.

I actually dad that. I added sea foam to the gas and used Deep creep(sea foam aerosol) the soak the pistons. Liek I said it didnt do anything that i could see besides smoke more.
Mercury Powertune actually removes sarbon quit well.

I just picked some up at Car Quest two weeks ago.
My tractor seem to have dirty injectors and now it feels like they are hitting on all three again.
The can says you could sea foam on 2 cycles but I did not want to chance it.
