Chainbrake was available as an option in the last few years of produdction, may even have been standard in the very last model year. Parts saws are ok but they are dangerous! "ya know if I bash these three saws together I could have ANOTHER running saw" . My dealer showed me a picture of an 015 with a chainbrake but said he doesn't remember ever seeing one in the shop.

Sedanman,

I used one of my 015's yesterday to do 4 pruning jobs. I brought my 020 and 044 along just in case, but never touched them. Two of the customers remarked about my saw. "Never seen one like that before, must be some kind of commercial model, huh?"

I busted my a$$ for 9 hours. The 015 plugged away, up in the tree, on the ground, flush cutting stumps. Some of the stuff was pretty big too - @16". Cleaned the air filter and touched up the chain at lunch. That's it. Fantastic saw. Feels a little heavy on the belt, but has great balance and good power.

The guy I work with laughed at me the first day I showed up with that saw. Now I have to hide it when it's not running.

That 015 made me some good money yesterday. "Bartender, bloody mary's for everyone!"

i never thought too much of the 015. i have one on the bench right now. i told the owner it ain't worth fixing. the saw looks in good shape. i'll have to give him a jingle and let him know i'll fix it. thanks guys. marty
