His real name is James Richardson. His ebay description says he lives in the Como, Texas area. I bought two chainsaw carburetors from him on ebay. I sent him a MO about a month ago and have not heard a word from him. Anyone know him or done business with him before?...thanks

I can't help you with the person, but if you used a US Postal money order they will trace it for you. You tell the postmaster your dilemma and pay them a $3.00 fee. Their investigators will find out if it was cashed, provide you with copies, etc. If the party still claims they never received Uncle Sam will go after him free of charge. I had it happen to me on Ebay with some tractor parts. Slippery #$%@# sure changed his story when the Postal inspector paid him a visit! ( and I got my parts )

Thank you for the good information. You know exactly how I feel. I sent the money but he did not deliver. However, my situation is a bit different than yours. I paid with a store bought MO. It was Saturday evening and the Post Office was closed. I wanted to get the MO in the mail right away, so I bought a store MO and got it right in the mail. Normally I would have used the Postal system and now I realize I should have waited until Monday and gone that route.

I am hopping that someone here will know this gentleman and remind him that he has not sent the carburetors.

Once your money order hit the mail it is considered mail fraud if he cashed the check and doesn't return said check in parts or service. It is considered a felony! I'd still file a complaint with the Post Office.

The other money order companies are so suspect, that their dealers locally
will not cash them, which is why I only want postal money orders. Any other
my bank will take them, but will say, if it hasn't bounced in 2 weeks, then it is
probably ok, but if it is not, it will come out of yor account................

Why would anyone want to take a chance????????????
A postal money order is all I will take, if they send me anything else, then they will wait a month or so........

I looked at jetmarine's ebay feedback and he has 5 negative feedbacks in the past month. Before that he had none. Maybe the guy died???

Certainly looks like "something" has happened rather than just another ebay rogue.

I think ebay can give you a contact phone number for a seller (if one is listed) if you start the non-receipt process with them.

If something has happened to him email is probably the last thing that's going to get answered.
