Say what ?
You are correct first poaching trees then trespassing trail clearing.i believe the thread got locked because one of the people wanting a quieter chainsaw was cutter where he wasnt supposed to.
This saw build for racing not cutting wood. When I'm checking it out I'll make a few cuts then let it cool before cutting again.
We did the 421 with just the stock outlet opened up like yours but then went in for round 2 and opened it up a little more and reformed the deflector. Feels like it runs better with the bigger opening. .325 chain is the mod that's the most impressive.
I love LP chain. Why move more wood than you have to? The WoodlanPro/Carlton LP is really good stuff.Maybe i'll just stick with the lp chain

Certainly true. Then again, the standard Oregon 91PX and the Carlton "saftey" chain you can find locally are quite good too. The small ramped drive links don't interfere with anything. I like the chamfer chisel cutters of the Oregon 91 chain and think they cut quite fast, but the cutters are short. So I've come to prefer the Carlton. I never spend th dough for Stihl.Yeah but baileys shipping is a killer. I can get Stihl PM a little cheaper after you add in the shipping from Baileys

Well, yeah. They don't hold up well to trenching. No probs with the LP chain...except you cant get too many sharpenings out of the chain...if you ding the teeth too bad
