I got this saw new a few weeks ago. 1st tank of gas the saw ran amazing. A few days later on the 2nd tank of gas after warming up the idle would kind of swing back and forth. At one point the saw stalled but it started right back up. Today after cleaning the air filter and checking all the connections in the carb. area it did the same thing. Saw cuts like the dickens but just doesn't idle like my Stihls.

The only difference in my three tanks of gas was that during the 1st run the temperature was in the 30's and the second two runs were in the low 20's.

I'd take it to the dealer but it's a 50 mile trip and I was hoping someone might know of something simple for me to check.

Just in case, check your carb bolts, they have been known to be loose on the 5100s.
