Great looking saw! And yes..they are big girls, with some serious butt. I have a 655bp that the last time I used it, the oilier quit working. I had it completely apart several times and couldn't get it working. So set it aside and just haven't got back to it. I replaced the recoil cover on mine, but never got it painted, so makes it look odd.

Nice saw. I have been searching forever for a bar like that for mine.

Don't mean to break the conversation, didn't see any other Poulan specific stickies..

I wanted to ask about doing a chain pitch conversion on a newer Poulan. I have a PP5020 running std 3/8 on a 20in bar. The saw is slower than the PP4218 I have, which is running 3/8 lo-pro, 18in bar. Want to convert the pp5020 to .325, open the muffler a little to get better cutting speed out of it.

I'm looking at using a Poulan Pro 4620 or PP295 sprocket in .325, since none was offered for the pp5020. The other issue is for bar mount pattern, the pp5020 is K095, the pp295 is A041.

Has anyone done this conversion, how did it work?

@JohnL Just run it's cousin's clutch drum. .325 spur drum 574521501 for 5020

4620 clutch drum wont work. Done been down this road 11 years ago and save info for it over the years.

Plenty of K095 bars out there in 325 for 5020.

Very last page of this 5020 thread. I had used a echo drum before the same saw cousin saw was set up with 325. So the spur drum in 325 can be bought. http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/poulan/poulan-pro-5020/

Order online from a husky dealer.

Anyone have a source of or one of these? Broke one!View attachment 1218731
GL one of the first things to go when I get parts saws in on them. Worst dang design for a choke and break easily.

Watch feebay usually 15-20 shipped just for that part.

I just mailed what was left of a dark green 46cc other day to a guy.

What is a good option for Poulan 3300 crank seals? I have 2 3300'S a PP335 and a Craftsman 3.3 that need them.
I have this all saved. But here you go.

Cant recall the guys name here and my group that did the boat seal test fitting. But perfect.

Several threads on it but somehow folks miss them or don’t use search function. Oem seals. Poulan 2800-3750 the whole series. 530019146
Here is the boat seals that will work once you run out of oem ones.
Part numbers are:
Evinrude = 332261
Sierra = 18-2065
GLM = 86520
Mallory = 9-76214

I have oem but been holding onto now for local work and my saws.

Just be warned. A few guys tried those rubber coated seals before the boat seals that are just like oem.

They failed over time and popped out = rubber coated ones.

I never tried rubber coated ones to know. Just feedback I seen on them by several people.

Boat seal compared to oem.
