The guy also has 2 PS460s for $255 and $265, and a PS34 for $170 in his other auctions.

I emailed the guy to see if I could pick the saw up and see what his lowest offer price would be. Dubuque is about 45 mins from me. We will see what he says I guess.

FYI, in one of his past auctions he sold a BN 5100 for $310.

This guy does not show up on the Dolmar dealer locate. I finally got a reply back from him on the 5100s. His lowest price is 320. He also will let me pick them up to. To bad I already have a deal with my local dealer. 320 must be close to dealer cost. If any one wants I might need to go to Dubuque in the near future.

Dolmar on eBay

He said that he got them from a dealer going out of business. I highly doubt this considering the number of saws he has listed and their prices. He's had like 20 saws up for auction. I got his contact information and he is NOT a dealer. I made some inquiries with Dolmar and my sales rep. these saws do not have a warranty at all if he purchased them from a dealer. If he is the dealer or working with the dealer then these saws still may not be covered due to the fact that Dolmar is sticking to their no mail-order policy.

This guy like it or not is hurting Dolmar by low-balling the legit. dealers, all over the US actually.

Anyway. I'd like to see people get a saw if they really want one and his prices are pretty nice. Hopefully he'll get all his auctions pulled or Dolmar and the IDN will figure out the supply line on these saws and blast his azz and whoever he's getting these saws from if he didn't in fact buy out a dealer.

I'm sure the Stihl dealers on this site will back me up on my feelings here. It wouldn't be any different if he was throwing down Stihl saws.

I'll get off my soap-box.

I hate to say it, but if i weren't trying to buy a new truck right now or if i was on a really tight budget, i would buy one of his 5100S. NOT....Im gonna go see my local Dolmar dealer in Greenwich when im ready to make the leap for a 5100S.

:jester: That is in fact true......  :givebeer: :givebeer:

....but Dolmar left Sachs when they joined Makita, so that part of his stories are not true.
