was over at bailey's today checking out the 372xpw they have listed and noticed a new category for dolmar saws only the 5100s and 7900 as of now but i thought selling dolmar over the net was a no no for anyone. I may be wrong and they may have permision to ship the saws if not then hurry up before they are shut down and order them up nd get them in transit.

Yeah, that's why they're selling them. I notice that Amick's is now selling the 5100 S online.

So much for trying to build a dealer network. I guess they will take the course of Poulan, oops I meant Husky and support their dealers to the fullest extent as well.

Baileys used to sell the 7900s when they came out....

It would be good for the name to get them in the hands of people that don't have Dolmar presence in the area

My orange sweater and white skirt shops are all closed tomorrow....Just make sure you get the matching bra and panties...Don't want your junk hangin out, you know.

That's all well and good, but what happens when those folks need warranty work? How about getting parts quickly? That's why I'll no longer buy any brand saw if I don't have a local servicing dealer for it. Just doesn't make sense to me to do otherwise. It's also why I'm selling my Jonsered saws. If I can't walk into a local dealer, lay down my cash and get my parts, then I don't want it.

Are you talking about Baileys-online.com?????

Dolmar seems to have a high number of below standard dealers. I would be willing to send a saw back for work if they sold over the net. It gets read of the whole dealer problem. Just my thought, but get read of the middle man. If they cant pull the weight, cut the rope. My brother went to a Dolmar dealer in K.C. and had the same problem, they are a kubota dealer who happens to sell dolmar saws, and they dont even have a tec... He did get a 5100S, but they didnt set it up, sold it to him in a box with the chain and bar seperat. Whats up with that? Who do I call to report crappy dealers, and to get my check for putting his saw together? Oh, my Stihl dealer dialed it in with a tach, so go stihl. I want a Dolmar 7900, but will probley get a Stihl 460 just cause I have a good dealer.

I looked up my local Dolmar dealer the other day. It's called "Backyard Power Products" or something like that. I know right where they're at in town, but didn't know they were there. I didn't visit them but bought a Stihl instead.

The dealers are going to make or break Dolmar. If there's selling online, it may break them.
