Found this in a pile of old saws that a shop was cleaning out, heard about Dolmar being a pretty good saw so I took it home, cleaned it up and got it running. Never used a Dolmar saw before, but this thing has a nice solid sound to it. I need a sprocket for it and hope someone has one. This has everything together as one piece, rim, bearing, and sprocket all one unit. Think the saw is a model PS 401? I am guessing this will use a 18" bar and chain. Old sprocket is so worn I can not tell if it was 3/8 or .325 either. Thanks for the help. Attached some pictures if they help.

Dolmar called that "Happy start" no kidding. I checked my Oregon catalog, no listing for a sprocket.

Wonder how old this saw is? Case and handle are all plastic, no cast and it has some anti-vibe. Mike Acres site shows a nice picture, but no info about the model?

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help, have a lot of good info about this unit now. Curious why they only rate the saw for a 16" bar, have not cut with yet but it seems big enough for at least an 18" bar. Any thoughts? Had a good laugh at the 'happy start' button until I saw it in the PDF manual. :p
