I was out at a piece of property I own today selling an International Harvester 1500 4x4 truck and decided to pull several of my old saws out. Here are three of them, most have not seen daylight in years.

This is a Mall 4600H that I bought at auction for $5 in about 1977. I had a guy offer me $10 at the sale, but I turned it down.

It is a gear driven saw and it ran when I got it. Still sports an original bar.

This is a Homelite 7-19C that I bought about 1982. The starter cover is off, but I have it. Took me a while to find a muffler for it even back then.

The last one is a Strunk "Most-Kut" (Model MK) that I bought at Bieler's sale in New Holland, PA about 6-7 years ago. It is stuck and missing a couple of items.

Enjoy!

There's something classy looking about vintage saws. Would you take 20 bucks for the Mall? Huh wouldja?

No, but tell me what it is worth to you and perhaps we can make a deal. I have about 20 saws and only really use me 3 Husky's and a couple of my older Poulans. In fact, I would be inclined to sell all of them (and about 5 of my tractors and and the same number of my old Studebakers).

Had a good couple of days. Sold a John Deere STX38 yesterday and this IH 1500 today along with 2 Studebaker pickup beds.

Resurecting an old thread....

Searched through your "threads starded by" list to see if I could find any info about that XL901 you mentioned. Found the CAD thread with the 901 in it, then found this interesting read...

Damn I'd love to have that IHC 1500 4WD flatbed. Saw one once that had a turbocharged Perkins I6 diesel (probably the IH version installed in some Loadstars) swapped into it. I'm as into Binders as you're into Studes. Among other Binders, I have a 1971 IHC 1210 Four Door (called a Travelette by IHC) 4WD longbox pickup. Has a 392 and a T34 IH/Fuller OD five speed. Future plans are clean it up and ditch the rotton bed for a flatbed, with removable side boxes that will fit alongside a slide-in camper.

Got a CC 14-bolt GM rear end that will replace the rear D60. A D60 front will replace the closed-knuckle 'big ball' D44HD that's under it now. With that 19-degree steering closed knucle front end (open knuckle fronts are 40-degree), it has the turning radius of an ocean liner...

I was surprised to see this thread brought back up. I guess I need to edit the original post to reflect that I have added another 50 saws to my collection since then!

I ended up selling the truck to a fellow for $1000 and 2 shotguns. I traded the guns a couple of months ago for a Husky 55. The kid put the truck up on CL within a month of buying it for $3000! I suspect if you want it he would let it go but shipping might be an issue....

I know where there is another one sitting under a barn not far from where I grew up. I was checking on a Moline tractor back around the beginning of the year and it was still there.

This is a picture of a '59 B120 that I got off e-Bay for $1025.

I ended up selling it to the owner of a classic car lot where I bought my '70 Dodge Power Wagon.
