Dumb question on Stihl 044

My father in law gave me a new in box 044. This is the chain that came with it. What size bar do I need?

Well then take the chain out of the box and count the drivers, take a pic of a driver and the tooth

I will have to do that tomorrow. Not sure if they all came with the same chain and someone who bought one remembers what bar they used?

Stihl saws do not "come with a chain" the bar and chain is selected at time of purchase. The actual saw box you posted is for a 046 with a 3/4 wrap and a 20 " 3/8 pitch bar and chain

Thanks guys. I will post pics of saw tomorrow. Spending most of my time right now at the hospital with my dad plus recovering from some injuries myself. My father in law has another 044 that he usees. I am thinking he bought two at the same time.

Is there no barcode/EAN or parts number on the chain box? You should be able to find out what it is exactly by using that.
