The cone ones from Sherrill ya don't have to handle the earpiece or your ear to place or remove'em. plus the outer coating is slicck and non-pourus; i imagine to fight just that problem.
Though they should be changed every once in a while; so the yellow cone peice is replaceable, keeping the blue hoop.
