I don't like how that powerking ran, notice on how he never let it idle??? Even changing between logs, he kept reving it up, and at the end just before the video stopped, it sounded like the idle was turned way high.

Im pretty new to selling on ebay but it seems like I do my homework and take decent pics and describe saws the best I can. I always seem to sell on the low end of the scale. I am honest and dont push the saws and people just dont seem to want them. I even took pic of comp. gauge hooked to saw. I guess I need blurry pic and misspelled description with lots of phrases like" runs like a striped a$$ ape" and some ridiculous shipping cost. :dizzy:

I was watching that 090 too. It seemed way overpriced, but then again just the bar and chains must be worth $400-$500, and the saw itself was in almost showroom condition. I was watching this 090 last week:

It went for an absolute bargain, and even came with a Mini-Mill attached to it, though I can't imagine wanting to use an 090 on a Mini-Mill. Looked to be in excellent shape too, though not as good as the other one.

That SAW was relisted, the seller said winning bidder could not pay.

A couple of years ago, I was looking at 066's... and I saw one bid up to $9999. Yes, 4 nines. I guess that two folks wanted it bad, and said that 10 grand ought to get it, and nobody else is gonna bid that crazy amount... I kinda wish I knew how it turned out... if they could retract their bids under pretense of missing decimal point, or if the seller really made out. Maybe the seller offered free shipping... :)

Bad time to be bargain hunting, but It is a great time to be selling. I would guess that bargains will be found again at about early to mid summer, when people aren't thinking about firewood.

I've bought and sold a few saws on there, and have basically paid for parts, chain, oil, gas, and even a few saws with the profits.
