The reason E-bay doesn't want you to remove anything from the description after people have bid is this:
Once someone has contracted a bid, that's a legal, binding agreement. To change the contract on either side - buyer or seller - requires a reinstatement of the agreement. If you want to supply an addendum (i.e....add more about the saw), you don't change the original agreement. It makes sense to me, and I think they are "in the right" on this one.
Something else....I can't believe E-bay has so many employees....

I agree with you in the fact that they are right...no questions asked....I guess they were just sending me a warning not to do it again....we will just do it differently
