Yes, my good sir: their pro-grade stuff here is priced at the same level as Stihl if not higher while Shindaiwa is always a tad more expensive. I know it's a suicidal policy (sales have been steadily declining for years here) but apparently Yamabiko is fine with their old importer behaving like he's the only girl at the dance.
Regarding brakage... my Echo Pas multi-tool has been effectively tossed around for a decade now. It looks a bit scuffy but it's otherwise fine.
