I am assuming it has a limited coil. I can't seem to find the RPM limit anywhere. I tried searching the part number for the coil and it doesn't come up with any specs. The part number also doesn't cross-reference to any similar sized echo saws. There is a different number on the coil itself, different from the number in the parts manual, which also returns nothing when searched. Anyone have any idea?

Thanks, I have the same Service Data Sheet. I am looking for the actual limit of the coil. I thought it would be stamped on there somewhere but I don't see one.

3 years later... But hey, I was looking for confirmation for a rev limiter too, as I'm working on a used CS3510-AC I picked up. When tuning it according Echo's EU service data specs for carb adjustment, the high jet should be tuned to 12500 to 13200 RPM. However, my 3510 goes berserk as from 13000 RPM. So I assume it does have a rev limited coil set at 13000 RPM.

I'm not aware of the differences between US and EU versions of the 3510, and I'm tuning a 3510-AC (automatic choke). Echo's EU service data specs for carb adjustment for 3510-ES version, indicates higher RPM's, from 13000 to 13600 RPM. But that could be arbitrary, as my saw doesn't reach max listed RPM's either before the limited coil kicks in at 13000.

I'll be using this 3510-AC for some weeks, to see if it may have some flaws to be addressed, before I tear it apart to port and mod. It mainly needs more torque (probably gasket delete and lowering intake) and better throttle response (exhaust mod, perhaps timing advance). I've looked around but found no porting references, so it'll be an improv job.
