Hey EHP,
Was just reading the post about last weeks get together and noticed at the bottom it said you were a Arboristsite Sponsor.
Thats great. I must admit I really like the 357XP you built me. It is very Strong. Heck it ran 1.9 and a stock Dolmar 7900 ran 1.8.
Keep up the great work and can't wait to see what you have for the next get together at Dan's.
Congrats,
Hunter

Thanks Hunter , all i can say is i try to do the best i can for everybody , and if there is a problem i will take care of it,

so what you are saying is i better get one of those 7900's running a little faster so you will not beat me next time

Looks like I am gonna have to get this 357 Broke in and maybe it will get a little faster.
Hunter

Yes you will see a good gain in the next 2 or 3 weeks ,once that cranks gets lossen up a bit because she is still pretty tight, just the way i like them

bwarker the 7900 i got from Dan i am leaving stock just to see how fast it will get left alone plus i want to see if they are any good for a work saw which i am sure they are, i have another one here plus i am getting another one sent to me to port , so i will keep you guys informed but i can tell you one thing for sure and that is if this stock one gets much faster than it is now look out
and the ported ones are faster still , you may have the best of both world's real fast and light weight

I was just informed by Markymark, that Seth had the fastest 7900. Looks like there is gonna be some strong competition.
Can't wait till they all run. I wonder if WJ will be running Nitro in his 7900? LOL

Congratulations Ed and welcome abroad.
Great to see you as a sponsor of this fine site.
I too own a EPH 357 The 1st one Ed built witch cut rite with a KD385.
Mine has approximately 5 gal of fuel ran through it and is running stronger all the time great saw.

I was just informed by Markymark, that Seth had the fastest 7900.

Hunter,
I guess it dosen't cost anything to post you have the fastest saw.
But I was born in show me state so prove how fast it is. Their may be just more than one in the running.

Eph,

Thanks for becomming a sponcer and taking care of our financial costs.

Wish you the best success here with your saw building skills.

Rick

For what i have been told those 357's take along time to break in to there full power , Nblogger said it takes 25 to 30 days of full running to get up to there full blown power, so you boys should see more going to come yet.

heaven for bid that those 357's you 2 have end up being faster than a 385, that is just not playing fair now is it

Hi Ed
Welcome aboard.
Now it would nice if we showed up on the list of sponsors or at least Dealers by Area.
I wasn't able to make that list yet, I guess that I wasn't here long enough. Maybe if we both get together we can rattle their cage.

Welcome Wagon

Hi Ed, glad to hear it, you have brought a whole new dimension to sawbuilding.
I to will become a sponsor someday as my saws are faster than a locomotive, able to leap tall trees with a single bound and faster than a speeding bullet.
Let's see who else jumps on the EHP welcome wagon. Doing so is good, and is known as piggyback advertising- popular by association.

I am already stocking up on my Kryptonite. I hope that will slow you down some. Come to think of it, I have to stock up the grenade pile.

Dan i will be bring some of those grenades but instead of pulling a pin you just hit the throttle,

LOL
That may be good thing. When they find the ones with the pins, they confiscate them and close down the border.

Hi Dan, the 357 rocks and is getting faster as we speak, I find myself cutting all vegetated matter in sight with it, including such sundries as picnic tables, ornamental shruberies and even highgrade sawlogs just to see those long curly woodchips.
I even dislogded Geppetto out from under a rock with it when I inadvertantly hit some granite.

Ed, good to see some new meat in the pot! Now this should mean we can boil all that secret east coast Canadian information out of you. Good luck with keeping all the chainsaw nerds inline and Pip Pip on being a new Sponsor. Dennis

Dennis C i thought you knew me by now , hell i am as dumb as a stump and twice as hard so looking to me for secrets is like trying to steal more chains than you can swim with, we have no secrets out here because we can not keep our mouth shut long enough to listen
