I once filed a chain so much that the cutters started puking off the tip of the bar like so many chicklets, so I did the right thing and filed the rakers to a razor sharp edge and still out cut a half a dozen woodticks.

I was looking back at the start of the 999 that has the PM system just buzzing as of late. John Lambert made mention "life was easier with a Walkers muffler" Most of us have progreesed in saws or just moved on to other hobbies. Friends have been made and faded as other relationships have come to bud. Some there's just pure hatred others have tuned the other way while turning the other cheek and discovering the real person behind the voice.

I have found out alot about dealing with people from my business but would have never imagined some of the antics that go on today over a chiansaw. I'll cough it up to a learning curve in my dealings with different people from all over the world.

Here's a picture of a 346xp that changed this site forever and with that saw more things happened with it. In time people showed there true colors.

Good old post. Brings back my thoughts of the time wherein I had just gotten to know Robyn and was wondering how such an upstanding young woman would ever even consider tapping some insecure ditz even if she happened to be blind, deaf and dumb, which she isn't.

Hey John, how about that more recent 999 that you reported fake cut times on. What a piece of ???? that thing was, eh?

Hello Doug, Ed's got the 999 now, but it's still for sale, but at a premium though. I would think 850 U.S. would be about right.
John

I'm sure once Ed's done fixing it, it'll finally be worth something. At that time, $850 might just be a bargain.

HeeHaw!

Gypo,

If ehp gets the old 999 a flying, I doubt he'll let you sell it to the Woodsdonkey! LOL

Joe and Doug make some good points here. Lamberts selling a saw at a low price. Someone doesn't want that club out there. Another guy is fronted to buy it while all along it needs another massage.

Maybe that saw is just deaf, dumb and blind. 850 would be a steal but what's the total cost in the end 2K.

Hey Marky,

When is that 346 of your`s going up for sale, or was it ruined in the flood?

Russ

Russ you want that 346xp I'll put it aside with the 22-250. By the end of next week I will have the EHP 346 with the pipe. I want to time Ed's against Dans. On muffler of course. Dennis and Tom were kind enough to set me up with some chains that they had eached files for the smaller saws.

I will use the same bar, chain and log so I can get the best results out of each. John Lambert said my 346xp Smokes so it will be fun to get one of these monsters up and running.

After seeing some saws running last weekend I am getting ready to go on another upgrade. Anyone can port a saw but when your dealing with heads, carbs, and pipes there's more finesse. If a saw builder can build a full race saw then it's back to basics for a woods saw I would think.

Doug any input here.:D

saw classes

I just read about that little hot saw and wondering if they have classes to race them or are they just for fun (have any video of that saw)
