I am educating myself on the need to put Elm trees on a spray/maintenance program or to simply monitor them twice yearly. Feel free to comment on your own experiences. Thanks
PS I am also interested in keeping contact with those of you who are also treating Beech trees for Phytopthora. I use injected soil amendments and bark- "washed" Agri-Fos w/ Pentrabark.

See picture. Thanks

I macro-infuse American Elms w/Arbortect when needed on a 2 to 3 year cycle depending on how high of a DED pressure area there in. Some Siberian Elms are sprayed once for Elm Leaf Miner if they are "high value", very few are. We also trunk inject them w/imidicloprid for Leaf Miner if they are too tall to spray. We have used soil injection of imidicloprid too, but w/limited success.
