Hey all,
Has any one had any experience with the auger powered splitters on miniskids? I really like the idea of being able to break down big stuff so it can be chipped. I have a bandit 250xp and a big chip box. The dump trailer is a little small, so I'm thinking that this might be a good solution to have fewer trips to the dump until I can get a bigger dump trailer.
Do these things work well in big wood? Especially on a smaller machine with limited down pressure? I am running a boxer 526dx with counterweight. Let me know if any of you guys have used them.
