I am slightly impressed. Only slightly. How about using this on some real hardwood? possibly some hard Maple. Mabie some Oak. How about using a bar longer than 14 inches? How far down are your rakers? Great video all the same. I like your choice of manafactures. What model is it? Keep the chips flying, Ken!!

Hi Ken, I agree and will try that on some big Rock Maple. My chains that I made for the videos are really just glorified workchains, but it's alot of fun. My rakers on the 088 are at 30 thou. Ed will be showing me some more chain stuff soon, so I should be able to speedbag almost anybody before too long.
Rob, the 088 is crowding about 88.56 HP. now, so I should be able to stump jump a 18" Red Oak. LOL. Several woodlots in the works and on the back burner waiting for conditions to dry up.

P.S., Hey Jachet Hack, how goes the battle with the Husky 55? What kind of wood do you cut in Oklahoma? How far are you from Muskogee? Sorry about being so nosey, but I always liked Oklahoma.
John

88.56HP sounds a little high for a saw of that type, to achieve 88.56 HP you'd need a harley engine or something like that. How much power is that thing REALLY putting out?, just wondering. the stock 088 is 8.5HP so thats kinda sub par for a modified saw, could use some more beefing up.

well it's his story so i will let him finish it

No Ed, we ARE NOT taking any credit for the monster that YOU have created, LOL. Don`t take it too hard though, he was primed and waiting to happen somewhere. :D

I also like Ken and his work. He`s an A-1 guy who would apparently help anyone out and he builds a great 372xp.

I reckin with a gun like that there, a 9pin is big enough after all it's a woods saw anything more you'd have fuct up drivers form derailing no.Quit preaching about nothing bigger than a 20"bar east of the Mississippi. You want big wood ? Try Enzyte
